Terms of service
Effective 8 August 2026 · applies to moj-cekar.si and the Cekar mobile app
1. What Cekar is
Cekar watches Slovenian retailer catalogues, shows you deals for products you choose to follow, and keeps shopping lists you can share with your household. It is run by the Cekar team, based in Slovenia ("we"). Contact: feedback@example.com. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.
2. Your account
You sign in with an email link or a Google account; keep that mailbox secure, because a sign-in link is as sensitive as a password. Cekar is currently in a closed beta, so new sign-ups may need our approval first. One account is meant for one person; lists exist for sharing with your household. You can delete your account at any time under Account, in the app or at moj-cekar.si/account. How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
3. Prices and catalogue content
Deals, prices and availability are the retailers' information, taken from their public catalogues. Catalogues contain mistakes, offers end early, and stores differ, so always check the price in the store; nothing here is an offer by us, and no purchase happens through Cekar. Product names, images and catalogue excerpts remain the property of their retailers and publishers and are shown as source references.
4. Free and paid plans
The free plan has limits, such as the number of products you can watch at once. If a paid plan is offered, its price is shown before you pay, billing runs through Stripe, and you can cancel any time with effect at the end of the paid period. Statutory consumer rights, including withdrawal rights under Slovenian law, are unaffected.
5. Shared lists
Whatever you put on a shared list is visible to everyone on that list, so share thoughtfully. A list belongs to the person who created it: the owner can remove members, and if the owner deletes their account, the list disappears for all its members.
6. Fair use
Do not scrape or bulk-download the service, probe other people's data, try to get around the beta gate or the plan limits, or use Cekar in a way that disrupts it for others. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
7. Availability and liability
Cekar is a beta service provided as is. We may change, pause or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that catalogue data is error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or for decisions made on the basis of a wrong price in a catalogue. Mandatory consumer protections under Slovenian law are unaffected.
8. Ending the relationship
You can stop using Cekar and delete your account whenever you like. We may close accounts that break these terms, and we may wind the service down with reasonable notice.
9. Law and disputes
Slovenian law applies. Disputes belong before the competent court in Slovenia; consumers also keep every venue their home law grants them.
10. Changes
If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new effective date, and we flag material changes in the app. Using Cekar after that means the new terms apply.
